Get Insight on How to Move Beyond Fundamentals Groundwork at the Montana Tour

When Clinton brings the Walkabout Tour to Kalispell, Montana, August 1st and 2nd, one of the demonstrations he’ll be sharing is how to avoid getting stuck on the groundwork exercises that make up the Fundamentals level of the Method. In the demonstration, a Professional Clinician and one of Clinton’s performance horses will join Clinton in the arena to illustrate how to move on to Intermediate and Advanced level groundwork exercises.

“Once your horse understands an exercise, it’s important to move on. There’s nothing horses hate more than being forced to do the same exercise every single day. Humans are the same. Imagine if when you were in school your teacher never got past teaching you the alphabet. Every day, she’d drill on the same lesson. You’d get bored quickly and start to resent even seeing her. The same theory applies to your horse,” Clinton says.

The Walkabout Tour will take place at the Majestic Valley Arena, August 1st and 2nd. Tickets are $25 for the weekend. No Worries Club members receive five complimentary tickets to tours. Tickets can be found on our e-store. In order to claim their free tickets, No Worries Club members must log in to their accounts.
