Does Your Horse Have Bad Manners?

1130_02

If your horse cops an attitude when you come near his stall, it’s time for an attitude adjustment. While pinny ears and cranky expressions are harmless in themselves, they lead to bigger, dangerous issues such as biting and kicking. Cranky, disrespectful behavior can lead to terrifying situations when trapped in a small space with a 1,000-pound animal.

In the training guide, “Mind Your Manners,” Clinton addresses two common problems associated with horses in stalls and shares his fixes. You’ll learn what to do if your horse turns his butt towards you when you walk into the stall and how to handle aggressive behavior, such as biting, kicking or striking out.
